Edison Sheltered Workshop Announces Rebranding
Edison, NJ 2/1/23. Edison Sheltered Workshop, a community rehabilitation program nonprofit agency is pleased to announce today that it is going to undertake a major rebranding. The rebranding is being undertaken to reflect the new planned expanded service platform and larger geographic footprint; the agency is expecting to pursue shortly.
ESW has been in operation since 1979 providing employment opportunities and training to special needs individuals in Middlesex county. In the past those employment opportunities have primarily been in an extended employment environment. Now ESW wants to take those past successes and expand its service program platform, by offering additional integrated community employment services that are in demand by the target population the agency seeks to serve. As such, the old ESW name no longer fits the organization’s market driven aspirations. Along with a new name, ESW will have a new logo, pictured above, and updated mission & vision statements.
“The rebranding and transformation of the ESW agency is needed to keep pace with the client population we seek to serve and allow our organization to make a positive impact on a larger targeted marketplace” said Brij Chawla, Executive Director.
This rebranding project will be a rolling process of significant updates to the organization and its operations. The agency launched its multiyear and multi-phase “Project Leo” internal transformation project on March 1st of 2022. The rebranding of the agency was a preplanned milestone of this transformation project. “We knew when we launched Project Leo, that we would need to modernize and update our name to encompass an expanded service offering” said Brij Chawla, Executive Director.
